This document mainly covers the installation and deployment of the AO.space open source version, and is mainly intended for end users with a development foundation. It supports one-click installation of the AO.space server on Windows, Linux, and macOS (Intel/M1) computers in the form of docker, and it needs to be used in conjunction with the AO.space App client. The platform uses the official platform of AO.space by default, and also supports user private deployment.
In order to meet the different needs of users, AO.space provides two installation methods:

There is no need to install the AO.space Web client. Open website Click to log in to AO.space and scan the QR code on the client to authorize the login.

If you want to deploy the platform privately, please refer to Platform Deployment Guide for deployment.
If you do not want to deploy the platform privately, this step can be ignored, and the official platform is used by default.
At this point, if the AO.space client and server have been installed, please ensure that the mobile phone and device are connected to the same network. Next, refer to the server deployment document apply public beta and Bind device chapters. After completing the device binding operation, you can start to experience the services and functions of AO.space.
If you deploy a platform privately, please fill in your private platform domain name when binding the device and initializing the space access channel. so that the Internet forwarding service is provided by your private platform, which is more secure and controllable.
